On July 25, China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment, along with other relevant agencies, held a video conference to discuss efforts to identify and address heavy metal pollution risks. Officials stressed that all regions and departments must actively carry out thorough inspections and cleanups of heavy metal hazards. Following a clear process of inspection, assessment, correction, treatment, prevention, and management, a comprehensive effort must be launched to find and fix environmental risks linked to heavy metals.
