According to a notice by the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council, goods that are shipped from the place of origin before 12:01 p.m. on April 10, 2025, and are imported between 12:01 p.m. on April 10 and midnight on May 13, 2025, will not be subject to the additional tariff.
On April 2, the U.S. government announced the imposition of "reciprocal tariffs" on Chinese exports to the United States.
