Huayou Cobalt signs major lithium battery materials supply contracts

Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd. has signed two major long-term supply contracts for lithium battery materials through its subsidiaries with LG Energy Solution (LGES), one of the world's leading battery manufacturers.
Huayou New Energy Technology (Quzhou) Co., Ltd. signed a ternary precursor supply agreement with LGES. Under the agreement, Quzhou New Energy will supply LGES and its designated purchasers with about 76,000 tonnes of ternary precursor products between 2026 and 2030.
Meanwhile, Chengdu Bamo Technology Co., Ltd. and Bamo Technology Hungary Kft. signed a purchase agreement for ternary cathode materials with LGES and its subsidiary LG Energy Solution Wroclaw Sp. z o.o. in Poland. Under this contract, Bamo Hungary is expected to supply LGES and its Polish plant with about 88,000 tonnes of ternary cathode materials from 2026 to 2030.
