Linfeng Aluminum to build aluminum alloy wheel project

Guangyuan Linfeng Aluminum Materials Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned second-tier subsidiary of Zhongfu Industrial, plans to invest RMB259 million (USD36.4 million) to build a green smart manufacturing project with an annual capacity of 3 million aluminum alloy wheels in Guangyuan, Sichuan.
The project will be completed in two phases. Phase I will have an annual capacity of 2 million wheels with a 14-month construction period, while Phase II will add capacity of 1 million wheels with a 12-month construction period. Once both phases are completed and fully operational, the project is expected to generate approximately RMB1.18 billion (USD166 million) in annual revenue (including tax).
With the rapid expansion of the electric vehicle market, the lightweight advantages of aluminum alloy wheels help extend EV driving range, further boosting demand.
